Stainless full exhaust with powerbomb for KLX230

KLX230 aftermarket exhaust full system in stainless steel. Features powerbomb style expansion chamber for enhanced air flow.  Beautifully crafted in Chiang Mai, Thailand, these exhausts deliver crisp throttle response, improved exhaust gas flow and improved power to weight ratio. Rich, full sound; louder than stock.

This aftermarket exhaust does not require a remap, but we recommend installing in conjunction with the pair valve delete and manual idle adjustment screw. The Pair Valve Delete will enable you to remove the pair valve and charcoal cannister emissions equipment from the motorcycle, resolving any noticeable backfiring or popping sounds on deceleration. You may also wish to install a heat shield.

This exhaust, and other emissions modifications, may not be compliant with laws in your jurisdiction. All exhausts ship with a spark arrestor installed.

Our exhausts also ship with a removable decibel killer, positioned in the forward end of the muffler. Leaving the decibel killer in place will ensure a quieter sound, although still louder than OEM. Removing the decibel killer will increase the loudness (approx. 91 db) and deliver crispest throttle response. To remove the decibel killer, simply slide it out of the muffler piece with a finger tip.

AVAILABILITY:

Exhausts available to fit all years of dualsport and motard models: KLX230, KLX230S, KLX230SE, KLX230SM. However, please CHECK FITMENT as per notes below.

Exhausts are also available to fit 2021-2023 R Models: KLX230R and KLX230RS. Exhausts not yet available for 2024+ (new chassis) KLX230R and KLX230RS.

CHECK FITMENT:

The new chassis design was introduced to the North American, Australia and New Zealand markets in 2024. However, in other markets, such as Thailand, the new chassis was not introduced until 2025. The KLX230 which has been newly released in India for 2025 is a new chassis model.

Double check your fitment by checking the direction of your front skid plate mounting bolts. If the front mounting bolts points front-back, then you have the 2021-2023 old chassis. If the front mounting bolts face to the sides of the bike, then you have the new chassis and should select 2024+.

HEADER PROTECTION:

The 2024+ dualsport Sherpa model has a low header pipe, which is vulnerable to damage. We recommend the new HiVolt Skid Plate – Extra Header Protection. Regular skid plates (no header protection) are also available for the Sherpa.
