KLX230 Lowering Link

$139.00 USD

KLX230 lowering link. Reduce seat height by approximately 30mm (1.18in) with a simple lowering linkage. Suitable for riders of shorter stature, or those who like to be able to get their feet on the ground. Made from 700 grade CNC aluminum.

Fits KLX230, KLX230R models.

Not recommended for KLX230S, KLX230RS models. Color: black. Free worldwide shipping.

Fitment of this product will reduce overall bike height but will also affect suspension and steering performance. Adjustment of the front forks may be required to maintain normal weight distribution.

For these reasons, KLXparts.com does not ordinarily recommend fitment of lowering linkages. However, for less experienced riders of shorter stature, being able to reach the ground can be a major factor in promoting confidence. Helping the rider feel confident is an important step in positioning a rider to develop their skills. Riders may wish to consider using the lowering link in the early stages of their rider development, and then removing it later for improved suspension performance.
