KLX230 gear shifter rod saver. Protect your KLX230 gear shifter shaft from damage during drops and impacts with a simple gear shaft saver.
Mounted over the gear shifter rod, between the shift lever and your engine case, these simple shaft savers reinforce the shifter rod to protect it during impacts – both from bending, and from being pushed inside the engine case.
A damaged shifter rod from a minor (or major) drop can ruin your week, not just your day. Your first problem is that you’re stuck on the trails, unable to shift gear; in the best case scenario, you limp home in the gear that the transmission is wedge in.
