Plastic frame guards for CRF300L and CRF300 Rally prevent scratching of side frame by boots and buckles. This is a high-wear area where the rider’s ankles lock into the frame of the bike, and normal riding will result in damage to the anti-rust coating on the frame unless protective guards are used.
Made from hard wearing plastic, these simple frame guards are preferable to aluminium frame guards because they provide a better grip surface for the rider. Additionally, there are no protruding edges on which to catch the rider’s pants or boot buckles.
